Honey Glaze Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken
1. Marinate chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
2. In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
4. Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in the flour mixture, and fry for about 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
5. For the glaze, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
6. Brush the fried chicken generously with the honey glaze.
