Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in Butter:
Add the cubed cold butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to work the butter into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add Blueberries:
Gently fold in the fresh blueberries. Be careful not to crush them; you want to keep those juicy pockets of blueberry goodness intact.
Add Wet Ingredients:
Pour in the milk and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined. Don’t overmix; the dough should be slightly sticky.
Shape and Cut:
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
Use a biscuit cutter or a round glass to cut out biscuits. Dip the cutter or glass in flour between cuts to prevent sticking.
