- In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add 6 tablespoons of sugar while continuing to beat.
- Add the egg yolks one by one, beating well after each addition.

- Gently fold in the wheat flour and baking powder into the egg mixture until well combined.
3. **Bake the Cake:**
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Grease a 24 cm (9.5 inches) diameter pan with margarine and flour it lightly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool and then unmold.
