No-Fuss Tiramisu Bites: An Egg-Free Delight

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the Coffee:
    • Stir the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using) into the mascarpone mixture until well blended.
  3. Crush the Ladyfingers:
    • Place the ladyfinger cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. You can also place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  4. Form the Balls:
    • Take a small spoonful of the mascarpone mixture and roll it into a ball. Roll the ball in the crushed ladyfingers until evenly coated. Place the ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  5. Chill:
    • Once all the tiramisu bites are formed, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill and set.
  6. Dust with Cocoa Powder:
    • Just before serving, dust the tiramisu bites with unsweetened cocoa powder for a classic tiramisu finish.
